This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Dominik Ficek ("Licensor") for the Season desktop application ("Application"). The Application is proprietary software; it is licensed, not sold. By installing or using the Application you accept this EULA.
The Licensor grants you, free of charge, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to install and use the Application on computers you own or control, for yourself and the members of your household, subject to compliance with this EULA.
Season Supporter, the optional purchase on the Season website, adds priority email support and a profile badge as described in the Terms of Service. It does not grant any additional rights, features, or licence terms, and the licence above does not depend on it.

The Licensor may provide updates through the website or the Application. Updates are covered by this EULA unless they come with different terms. The Licensor is not obliged to provide updates or support, except for the priority email support sold as Season Supporter.
Your recipes, household details, meal plans and other content are stored locally on your computer and remain yours. The Licensor does not receive them. If you enable phone sync or remote backups, that data is sent to a relay running on your own Cloudflare account, and backups are encrypted with a passphrase only you know.
Chat features use the Claude Code command-line tool under your own Anthropic account. Phone sync uses your own Cloudflare account. Your use of those services is governed by their providers' terms, and the Application never stores your credentials for them.
The Application incorporates third-party components that are licensed separately from this EULA, including Electron and Chromium (MIT and BSD-style licences), React (MIT), SQLite (public domain), and numerous Rust and JavaScript libraries (MIT / Apache-2.0). Each such component remains governed by its own licence, which takes precedence over this EULA with respect to that component.
The Application helps you record preferences and restrictions and takes them into account when it suggests recipes, but suggestions, parsed ingredients and AI-generated content can be wrong or incomplete. Always check ingredients yourself, especially where allergies or medical diets are involved. The Application does not provide medical or nutritional advice.
The Application is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor disclaims all warranties. Nothing here limits statutory warranties you have as a consumer under Czech law (Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code) or EU Directive 2019/770 on digital content and digital services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor's total liability under this EULA shall not exceed the amount you paid to the Licensor in the 12 months preceding the claim, if any. The Licensor is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
This licence terminates automatically if you breach its terms. On termination you must cease use and delete all copies of the Application.
This EULA is governed by the law of the Czech Republic. See also the Terms of Service for the website.
